Arunachaleswarar Temple – Panguni Matha Pradosham 2026

The sacred Panguni Madha Pradosham at Arunachaleswarar Temple in Tiruvannamalai is one of the most spiritually significant occasions for Lord Shiva devotees. Observed during the Tamil month of Panguni (March – April), Pradosham is dedicated to Lord Arunachaleswarar (Shiva) and is believed to remove sins and grant divine blessings.

Chandra Grahan Rituals Held at Arunachaleswarar Temple in Tiruvannamalai

Special rituals were conducted at the Arunachaleswarar Temple in Tiruvannamalai on the occasion of the Chandra Grahan (lunar eclipse) on March 3 night. As part of the tradition, Theerthavari ceremony was held at the Brahma Theertham temple tank when the eclipse ended. Temple priests performed Vedic chants and special poojas, followed by purification rituals. A large number of devotees participated and offered prayers to Lord Annamalaiyar.
