On this auspicious day, the deity Annamalaiyar with Unnamulai Amman gave a special darshan at the Jalakandeswarar shrine, located near the Sthala Vriksha in the third prakaram of the temple. Following the darshan, Deeparadhana (ritual worship with lamps) was performed in the presence of devotees.
