Chandra Grahan Rituals Held at Arunachaleswarar Temple in Tiruvannamalai
Special rituals were conducted at the Arunachaleswarar Temple in Tiruvannamalai on the occasion of the Chandra Grahan (lunar eclipse) on March 3 night. As part of the tradition, Theerthavari ceremony was held at the Brahma Theertham temple tank when the eclipse ended. Temple priests performed Vedic chants and special poojas, followed by purification rituals. A large number of devotees participated and offered prayers to Lord Annamalaiyar.

The Lingodbhava Abhishekam is a special ritual performed with milk, honey, sandalwood, and other sacred offerings. It is especially significant during Pradosham, Maha Shivaratri, and Karthigai Deepam celebrations.
