Grand Karthigai Deepam Festival in Thruvannamalai – 5th day Deepam festival – Noon session – the deities of Lord Vinayaka and Lord Chandrashkharar ointhe carriage of Silver Rishabha and the event of Kalsam Etrtuthal for the Panchmurthys.
The 4th Day of the Deepam festival – The night procession of the deities of the Panchamurthys – Lord Periynayakar on the carriage of Silver Karpaga Viruksham (divine tree), Goddess Parasakthi on the carriage of silver kamdhenu (Holy Cow), Lord Muruga on the carriage of silver peacock, Lord Vinayaka on the carriage of silver mooshika (mouse) and Lord Chandkeswarar on the carriage of silver Rishabha (bull).
During the night of the 4th day of the grand Thirukkarthigai Deepam festival at Thiruvannamalai, the wondrous Darshan of the deity of the Lord Periya Nayakar being shifted (by the temple staff) and seated on the special carriage of the silver Kamadehnu-Kalpaka Viruksham during the preparations for the special Deeparadhana for the Panchamurthis and then to be taken on a procession.
On the 3rd day of the festival, during the night, the special Ratha vilakku Deeparadhanai and Panchamuga Deeparadhanai were performed for the deities of Lord Priyanayakar, His Consorts Uma and Kandhar, Lord Vinayaka, Lord Subramanya, with His Consorts Valli and Deivanai, and Goddess Ambal in the form of Lalthambigai, and Lord Chandkeswarar.
After the special Deeparadhanais, the deities were then taken on a procession from the Thirukkalayana Mandapam, along the Mada Veedhis with the deities of the Lord on the carriage of Simmam (lion) and His Consort Ambal on the carriage of annam (swan), and Lord Chandkeshwara on the carriage of Rishabam (bull).
During the noon session of the 3rd Day of the Deepam Festival at Thiruvannamalai, the deities of Lord Chandrasekharar and Lord Vinayaka was taken on a procession around the street adjacent to the temple corridors. The event of Thiruvizha Undial (Festival Hundi) was performed at the 3rd corridor near the Kodimaram (flag-tree).
Karthigai Deepam Festival 2017 – Day 2 Night events – the deities of Panchamoorties (5 gods) seated on special carriages was taken on a proession around the streets adjacent to the temple corridors.
The festival events on day # 2 of the grand Deepam festival at the Thiruvannamalai temple:
On the 2nd day of the Deepam festival, a procession of the deities – the deity of Lord Arulmigu Chandrasekarar in the carriage of the Surya Prabhai (Sun God) and the deity of the Lord Vinayaka on the carriage of Mooshika (Mouse) will be organised around the madaveedhis or the streets around the temple corridors
The divine procession of the deity of the Lord Periyanayakar on the carriage of Adhikara Nandi, the deity of His Concert Goddess Ambal in the carriage of Vellai Annam (Silver Swan), the deity of Lord Vinayaka in the carriage of silver mooshikam (silver mouse) and the deity of Lord Muruga in the carriage of peacock, and the deity of the Lord Chandikeswarar in the carriage of puli (tiger) will be organised the previous night
