As part of the Panguni Uthra festival, the holy Parasakthi Amman Kubera temple has departed for the big temple. The departure ceremony was held on Tuesday amidst a festive atmosphere in Thiruvannamalai. The temple procession, which included beautifully decorated chariots and musical bands, was accompanied by a large number of devotees who thronged the streets to catch a glimpse of the deity.
Yesterday, on April 3rd, 2023, a special Abhisheka Aradhana was held for Lord Nandi at the Arunachaleswarar temple in Tiruvannamalai, in honor of Panguni Month Pradosha. The occasion drew a significant number of devotees, who had the opportunity to partake in the darshan of Swami.
Since summer has started, Buttermilk is being distributed to the devotees of Annamalaiyar Temple starting today. The Associate Commissioner V. Kumaresan inaugurated the distribution at the temple’s third prakaram Deepa Darshan Mandapam earlier today
On Sunday morning, the 12th of February 2023, the Kumbabhishekam of the Somasipadi Arulmiku Balasubramaniyar temple took place in the third prakaram yagashala of the temple complex. The Kumbabhishekam was carried out by the people of Nattukottai Nagrathar.
During the ceremony, the temple’s shrines, including the Rajagopuram Vimana, were consecrated, and devotees were able to visit them. The atmosphere was festive and joyous, with the temple complex adorned with beautiful decorations, including flowers and lights.
The Kumbabhishekam is the culmination of months of renovation and restoration work that had been taking place at the temple.
