The grand rituals took place early in the morning at the 1000 Pillared Hall located in the Fifth Prakaram, in the divine presence of Lord Nataraja and Goddess Sivagami Sundari.

0 Comments/in Frontpage Article, News, News & Events/by omarunachalaThe Aani Thirumanjanam festival, observed during the Tamil month of Aani, was celebrated with great devotion at the renowned Arunachaleswarar Temple in Tiruvannamalai.
As part of the celebrations, a Thirumanjanam (sacred bathing ceremony) was performed for the main deity, Lord Nataraja.
Following the Thirumanjanam, the beautifully adorned deities of Lord Nataraja and His consort Sivakamisundari were taken in a grand procession to the Aayiram Kaal Mandapam (100 Pillars Hall) at night, where they gave Darshan and blessings to the devotees.
In the early hours of the next morning, special Abhishekam (ritual bathing) was performed again for the deities, and they were magnificently decorated. At 9:00 AM, special poojas and Maha Deeparadhanai were offered to the divine couple.
Later, the deities were taken to the 1000-pillared hall, allowing thousands of devotees to have Darshan and participate in the spiritual proceedings.
The grand celebration concluded with a procession of the deities through the Thirumanjanam Gopuram, encircling all four corridors of the temple.
