The grand Thiruvannamalai Karthigai Deepam Festival 2025 has officially commenced at the sacred Annamalaiyar Temple. On Wednesday (24.09.2025), the traditional Pandakkal ceremony was performed between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM near the Rajagopuram, marking the beginning of the world-renowned festival.

The grand Tiruvannamalai Annamalaiyar Temple Karthigai Deepam festival will begin with the Bandhakal Mukhurtham ceremony on 24th September 2025 (Purattasi month). The rituals will start early morning from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM at the holy temple.
