Preparations begin for Karthigai Deepam 2022 festival
The ‘Panthakkal Muhurtham’ ceremony, signifying a ritual inaugural for preliminary preparations for the annual Karthigai Deepam festival, was held at the famous Om Arunachaleswara Temple in the early hours of Friday (30.09.2022).
Purattasi Month Amavasai Pradosham (23.09.2022)
Amavasai Pradosham for the month of Purattasi was held at the Tiruvannamalai temple. Abhishekam was done for the Nandi statue and the Lord and his consort were taken out in procession for the darshan of devotees.

The world-famous Thirukkarthigai Deepam Festival 2022 at the Thiruvannamalai temple of Lord Om Arunchaleswarar will commence with the divine flag-hoisting ceremony on 27th November!

- 2nd December – Velli Radham – Silver chariot (Velli Ratham)
- 3rd December – Maha Radham – Giant chariot (Mega Ratham)
- 6th December – Morning – Bharani Deepam
- 6th December – Evening – Maha Deepam
Avani Amavasai Pradosham
