Thousands of devotees participated inthe event of divine flag-hoisting and had Darshan of Lord Arunchaleswarar!
The famous ‘Thirukkarthigai Deepam THirvizha’ at Thiruvannamalai Lord Arunchaleswarar Temple was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm with Maha Deepam Lighting as the climax.
The Maha Deepam was lit on the top of the 2668′ high mountain!
Subsequently, the Maha Deepam was there on top of the mountain for 12 days!
With the conclusion of the Maha Deepam lighting and the Deepam Thirukkarthigai festival, a special pooja was performed on the Copra of Maha Deepam on 17th December.
