On the 4rd day of the festival, the the deities were then taken on a procession from the Thirukkalayana Mandapam, along the Mada Veedhis with the deities of the Lord Chandrasekarar.

Night On the 3rd day of the festival, during the night, the special Ratha vilakku Deeparadhanai and Panchamuga Deeparadhanai were performed for the deities of Lord Priyanayakar, His Consorts Uma and Kandhar, Lord Vinayaka, Lord Subramanya, with His Consorts Valli and Deivanai, and Goddess Ambal in the form of Lalthambigai, and Lord Chandkeswarar.
After the special Deeparadhanais, the deities were then taken on a procession from the Thirukkalayana Mandapam, along the Mada Veedhis with the deities of the Lord on the carriage of Simmam (lion) and His Consort Ambal on the carriage of annam (swan), and Lord Chandkeshwara on the carriage of Rishabam (bull).
At the Annamalaiyar Temple in Tiruvannamalai, the third day of the Karthigai Deepam festival was marked by special yagasala rituals and the sacred 1,008 Shankha Abhishekam performed in front of the sanctum. The beautifully arranged flowers and offerings added to the spiritual vibrance of the celebrations.
During the noon session of the 3rd Day of the Deepam Festival at Thiruvannamalai, the deities of Lord Chandrasekharar and Lord Vinayaka was taken on a procession around the street adjacent to the temple corridors. The event of Thiruvizha Undial (Festival Hundi) was performed at the 3rd corridor near the Kodimaram (flag-tree).

On the second day of the Karthigai Deepam festival in Tiruvannamalai, Lord Vinayakar and Lord Chandrasekar were taken in a grand procession on the golden Surya Vahanam, blessing the large gathering of devotees who had come to witness the divine spectacle.

The Thirukarthigai Deepam festival began in Thiruvannamalai with grand celebrations as thousands of devotees gathered around the Annamalaiyar Temple. On the first day of the festival, the Panchamurthi idols were taken out in a special alankaram, carried in beautifully decorated silver vimanas. Devotees thronged the Mada Streets to witness the sacred procession and receive the blessings of Lord Annamalaiyar.
The temple town is filled with spiritual fervour as rituals, processions, and celebrations continue leading up to the Maha Deepam lighting on the holy hill.
As part of the Karthigai Deepam festival preparations, a special abhishekam was performed yesterday for Lord Vinayagar and Lord Chandikeswarar at the temple. Following the rituals, both deities were adorned with special decorations and blessed devotees with their divine presence.
The ceremony attracted many devotees who gathered to witness the sacred rituals conducted ahead of the grand Karthigai Deepam celebrations.
In connection with the sacred Thiruvannamalai Karthigai Deepam festival, the Pallavaram Arunachala Seva Trust conducted the traditional Thirukkudai Ubhaya ceremony for the Panchamurthis. The event was held in a grand and devotional manner yesterday (23.11.2025), Sunday.
