Margazhi celebrated at Thiruvannamalai

The first day of the Tamil month of Margazhi was celebrated at Thiruvannamalai Temple. The Lord Vishnu was seen with his consort Lakshmi and his most avid follower Andal.

The Thiruvempaavai was sung and recited. Seen here are devotees lighting lamps to mark the start of the month.

People thronged the temple to seek the Lord`s blessings on this auspicious day. Seen here is the Navagraha Sannidhi.
