Karthigai Deepam Festival 2019 – Day 3 (Night)
0 Comments/in Deepam 2019, News & Events/by omarunachalaNight On the 3rd day of the festival, during the night, the special Ratha vilakku Deeparadhanai and Panchamuga Deeparadhanai were performed for the deities of Lord Priyanayakar, His Consorts Uma and Kandhar, Lord Vinayaka, Lord Subramanya, with His Consorts Valli and Deivanai, and Goddess Ambal in the form of Lalthambigai, and Lord Chandkeswarar.
After the special Deeparadhanais, the deities were then taken on a procession from the Thirukkalayana Mandapam, along the Mada Veedhis with the deities of the Lord on the carriage of Simmam (lion) and His Consort Ambal on the carriage of annam (swan), and Lord Chandkeshwara on the carriage of Rishabam (bull).
