Margazhi celebrated at Thiruvannamalai
The first day of the Tamil month of Margazhi was celebrated at Thiruvannamalai Temple. The Lord Vishnu was seen with his consort Lakshmi and his most avid follower Andal.

Vasantha Utsavam Panthakal

Chitirai Vasantha Utsavam 2016
The temple at Tiruvannamalai will celebrate Chithirai Vasantha Utsavam between April 12 and April 21 this year. Every morning there will be an Abhishekam for the Lord. Anna Daanam will be given for the afternoon meal. Those interested in contributing to the seva, can donate Rs. 6000. This will feed up to 300 persons. This contribution will be exempt from Income Tax under Section 80 G.
The Golden Chariot or Thanga Ratham will be pulled in the temple in the mornings. Those who are interested in taking part may pay Rs. 1500 and do so. Details of all events are available on telephone no. 04175 252438.
