Procession of Lord Periyanayakar on Rishabha carriage and Parasakthi Amman
After the event of the divine marriage of Lord Periyanayakar and His Consort Parasakthi Amman on the sacred Panuguni Uthiram Full Moon Day, the deity of the Lore Periyanayakar will be taken on a procession on the carriage of Rishabha Vahanam (Bull) and His Consort Parasakthi Amman will be taken on a procession on the carriage of Kamadhenu, the Holy Cow on the streets (Mada Veedhis) around the temple.
Divine marriage the presiding deities of God and Goddess performed at the Thiruvannamalai temple
On the super-auspicious occasion of Panguni Uthiram (-The Hindu system – the star Uthiram falling on the Full Moon Day on the Hindu calendar month of Panguni), the divine marriage of the deity of the Lord Periyanayakar Somskandar was taken to the 3rd corridor of the temple in front of the temple flag and the deity of Goddess Parasakthi Amman was taken to the Deepadarisana Mandapam.
Fater this, the event of exchanging of garlands on the deities was performed. The Lord, along with His Consort Goddess Parasakthi Amman was taken to the Marriage Hall or the Thirukkalayana Mandapam. Then, with the chanting of holy Vedas, the divine marriage was performed.

It was observed that a substantial crowd of devotees undertaking the mountain route (Girivalam) from early morning 4.00AM.
A sequence of sacred events are scheduled to be performed in the temple of Lord Arunachaleswarar:
- Laksharchana from the morning
- Pradosham Pooja in the evening
- The deity of Lord Sundareswarar carried on the carriage of silver bull to offer darshan to the devotees in the evening.
- Midnight: The annual special Abhiskhekham performed on the deity of Lingothpawar in the 1st corridor Koshtam
- Adorning the deity of Lord Arunachaleswarar with silver kavas am (shield)
- Adorning the deity with ‘Thaazhampoo’ (screw-pine flower) and performing Deeparadhanai
- Grand Nadhaswaram recital in front of the Temple Adornment Mandapam by Nadaswara Vidwan Pichandi and Group
