The Invitation Letter for the Grand Deepam Festival at Thiruvannamalai temple

The invitation for the famous and grand Thiruvannamalai Deepam Festival at the Thiruvannamalai Lord Arunachaleswarar temple was offered to the Gods at the sanctum sanctorum of the deity of Lord Sambandha Vinayakar located in the 3rd corridor of the temple.

Subsequently, the invitation letters were distributed to Sivacharya, The temple administration staff, and the important persons.

The invitation will be distributed to the devotees from today at the office of the temple.

Yesterday, on 11th October (Thursday), on the 2nd of the Navaratri Festival, the deity of the Parasakrhi Amman Rajarajeswari was specially adorned for the devotees to have darshan.

Navarathri festival commences at Thiruvannamalai temple

The grand Navarathri festival commenced yesterday (11th October) at the famous Thiruvannamalai temple.

Today, the deity of Parasakthi Amman was adorned and taken from the Aasthana Mandapam to the Thirukkalayana Mandapam.

The main deities of the Goddesses in the Durgai Amman Temple, Pachai Amman Temple, Aadhi Kamakshi Amman Temple were specially adorned to offer Darshan to the devotees.

Thiruvannamalai temple – Special Abhishekham for all Nandhis

Yesterday (Saturday, 22nd September) was the 6th day of the holy month of Tamil calendar, Purattasi. It was a full moon day with Sani Pradosham.

On this occasion, special Abhishekham and Deeparadhanai were performed on the Nandhis located in the 5 corridors of the famous Thiruvannamalai Arunachaleswarar temple.

The Lord of Pradosham (Pradosha Nayakar) was taken on a procession on the carriage of Golden Rishabha (Bull – Rishabha Vahanam) along the 3rd corridor of the temple.
