Karthigai Deepam Festival Day 10 night event took place at the Arulmigu Om Arunachaleswarar Temple in Tiruvannamalai. Below are some of the pictures showcasing the event.
10th days of grand deepam festival at Thiruvannamalai temple
On the 10th Day(10th December) of the Grand Deepam Festival at the Lord Arunachaleswarar temple in Thiruvannamalai, the following events were performed in sequence:
The deities of the Panchamurthys taken out to have the Maha Deepam Darshan.
The deity of Lord Arthqanareeswarar carried out to offer Dasrshan to the devotees (only once a year).
The deities of Panchamurthys carried on a procession on the temple corridor streets.
The deity of Lord Periyanayagar Somaskandhar was carried on a special golden ‘Rishabam’ (bull) carriage and taken on a procession on the corridor streets of the temple.
Theerthavari performed at Thiruvannamalai temple
Theerthavari was performed (10-12-2019) at the Lord Arunachaleswarar temple in Thiruvannamalai at the 4th corridor of the temple Brahma Theertham.
Theerthavari was performed with the deities of Lord Muruga and His Consorts Valli Deivayanai carried to the Thheerthavari Mandapam in front of the Sanctum Sanctorum of Lord Bhairavar.
