Sani Pradosham at Lord Arunachaleswarar temple – Thiruvannamalai – 21st March!

On 21st March, the day on which New Moon Day occurred in the Tamil calendar month of Panguni, it was the occasion of ‘Sani Pradosham’ which was performed in the Lord Arunachaleswarar temple in Thiruvannamalai.

The day of Pradosham on Saturday, 7th March was observed in the Lord Arunachaleswarar temple at Thiruvannamalai when devotees had Darshana of Lord Annamaliayar along with his Consort Goddess Sri Unnamalai Amman.

Special Abhishekham and Deeparadhanai was performed for the ‘Periya Nandhi’ (The statue of the larger bull) located at the 5th Corridor of the temple.

Maha Sivarathri festival in Thiruvannamalai Lord Arunachaleswarar temple!

On the sacred day of Maha Sivarathri, ‘Lakshaarachanai’ Maha Abhishekham was performed on the main deity of the temple of Lord Annamalaiyar with His Consort Goddess Unnamulai on Friday, 21st February.

Special Abhishekham was performed on the deity of Lord Lingothhavar situated in the 2nd Corridor of the temple at 11.30 PM on Friday, 21st February.

The deity was adorned with lavender (Thaazhampoo) and a special Deepaaradhanai was performed from 11.30 PM.
