The Management of Thiruvannamalai Arunachaleeswarar Temple has recommended the ideal time to undertake ‘Girivalam’ during the ensuing ‘Pournami’ (Full Moon Day). Ensuing Pournami (Full Moon Day) occurs on 3rd April starting from 4.24 PM till 6.10 PM on 4th April. This is the ideal period to undertake ‘Girivalam’.
