The 1st day of the grand Spring Festival at Thiruvannamalai Lord Arunchaleswarar temple

On the 1st day of the grand spring festival (‘Vasantha Utsavam’) at the Thiruvannamalai Lord Arunchaleswarar temple on Wednesday, 10th April, the deity of the Lord Periya Nayakar was taken to the 3rd corridor of the temple in the ‘Panneer mandapam’ located near the ‘Magizhamaram’ and then the ceremonial event of showering of dolls was performed.
