Deepam 2015 – Day 1 – Swamy ursavam Panchamoorthikal in Indira vimanam

On the first day the Tamil month of Karthigai today, the Dwajaroghanam or hoisting of the flag ceremony was held outside the Siva Sannidhi at Annamalai.

The Panchamurthis were then taken around the Madas around the temple, after which they were placed in the Kalayan Mandapam for a Deeparadhanai. The Panchamurthis are Lord Ganesha, Lord Annamalaiyar, Goodess Unnamulaiyar, Lord Subramanya and Sri Chandikeswarar.
