In Neepathurai village, next to Thiruvannamalai, owing to Aadi Ammavasai, special celebrations for Aadi 18 or Aadi Perukku and Guru Peyarchi took place. In Arulmigu Sellayamman Temple present at the centre of Sengam Neeppathurai Thenpennai river, along the Thenpennai river banks, Prasanna Venkatrama Perumal Temple, the Sengam Sivan Temple Guru Peyarchi at Thiruvannamalai Annnamalayar Temmple took place. On Kritigai day of the month of Aadi, devotees carried Kavadis for the Lord. Seen here is the procession of devotees on that day.

On the occasion of Aadi Pournami Pradosham, the Lord and his consort were taken out in procession for the devotees’ Darshan. The statue of Nandi was given Abhishekam.
